The area offers a varied selection of activities to suit all ages and tastes.

Walking Lovely walks right here on our doorstep amongst them along the banks of the Canal du Midi or the River Aude.  Further afield well signposted routes taking you through varied countryside.

Cycling is a national French pastime. Cycle hire is available here in Carcassonne.

Golf Carcassonne Golf course is ten minutes away by car, built in 1988 it offers 18 holes and reasonable fees. Situated between the Mediterranean sea and the mountains, this challenging golf course with magnificent panoramic views is renowned for the excellent quality of its fairways and the speed of its greens.

Swimming Carcassonne has a large open air swimming pool open in the main season with a toddlers area.  The Lac de Cavayere with a sandy beach offers swimming and sunbathing. There are volleyball pitches and canoeing.

Tennis Tennis courts nearby and available for hire.

Boat Trips A lovely way to spend a few hours is to take a boat trip up the Canal du Midi.

Go Karting Great fun for all the family. A go-kart track is nearby, perfect for budding rally drivers.
